Beneficiaries
The Country Fair and Hay Show have now combined their efforts into one non-profit making organisation. We retain a small amount of ongoing funds to finance the next year’s events and give all our other profits to deserving causes, activities and charities with the emphasis on supporting those taking place in and around Rothbury though we sometimes give to causes further afield in Northumberland and occasionally elsewhere. All profits made by the Hay Show are specifically targeted at benefitting those activities supporting children and families.
By now we have raised over £150,000 since we held our first events. It's amazing what you can accomplish if you just keep trying!
If you are involved with a project or group in need of funds for something special, please contact us, preferably by email or letter, and we’ll see if we can help you. Obviously we cannot help everyone, but our committee will consider each new application.
The Fair committee usually meets in the early autumn and decides on beneficiaries from that year's season according to the resources available to us. The committee's decision is always final.

The Hay Show 2023 will take place on Sunday February 12th
